Upon joining PBSI Group Ltd (P&B Protection Relays) within an initial apprenticeship role in 2017, I have since progressed into a Quality Support Engineer position, having been afforded the opportunity to work across numerous internal departments.Throughout my entire career, I have also held a distinct and prolonged commitment to professional development and growth. This has led me to currently undertaking a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering awarded at UClan, which I am expected to finalise later this year (2024). During this period, I have engaged in a number of challenging modules, including: Control Engineering, Fundamentals of Electrical Machines, Generation Transmission and Distribution Plant, and Power Electronics, and Engineering Analysis.Prior to that, I completed both a HND and HNC Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Tameside College; gathering significant expertise across a range of related topics, such as Engineering Design, Managing a Professional Engineering Project, Professional Engineering Management, Industrial Systems, Industrial Services and Mechatronics, and Electrical & Electronic Principles.During this period, I was most proud of being selected to represent Tameside College at the WorldSkills UK, Mechatronics Competition 2022, where I progressed from the regional stage to the national qualifiers.Going forward, I am passionate about growing my knowledge within the field of Electrical/Electronic Engineering.The opportunity to use and build upon my growing skillset within a challenging and dynamic environment is the current goal.
