As The Visual Storytelling Specialist, I harness my extraordinary verbal and written communication with my passion for telling clear, compelling, data driven and people-centered stories. Prioritizing and leading cross departmental ideation, I bring the nuanced nature of WhyHunger’s work to digital platforms.Key Responsibilities Include:-Oversee the end-to-end process of creating multimedia storytelling content, from ideation to design and implementation-Generate creative, compelling, and succinct copy in partnership with Programs and Development teams to support WhyHunnger’s objectives (SEO strategy, competitive messaging, brand voice)-Create engaging long form content including blog posts and newsletters-Work closely with Social Media Assistant to ensure messaging strategy has high CRO and SEO across all digital channels (website, organic social, paid ads, email, etc.)-Work closely with Storytelling and Content Creation Consultant to develop and drive the data and visual-storytelling strategy, aligning it with the overall mission and rebranding of WhyHunger-Manage visual thought projects related to partner spotlights, staff interviews, policy advocacy etc. -Hold regular meetings with other departments to identify opportunities for impactful visual storytelling-Collaborate with different departments to integrate various narratives into multimedia content pieces and digital features-Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data visualization and digital storytelling-Implement innovative approaches and techniques to enhance WhyHunger’s storytelling capabilities

The D&AD Shift is an intensive night school for the ambitious, for the wild, for those wanting to disrupt and construct. Five-months of online and in-person learning with over 15 creative agencies, across multiple disciplines from creative direction and design thinking to pitching, strategy and creative thinking. As a 2021 Shifter, I had the pleasure of working with adidas, and Diageo on two real-life creative briefs, as well as a 'brief-in-a-day' challenge with Spotify. Upon completing the D&AD New Blood Shift Program, I am poised for new opportunities in creative production, experience design, and the creative paths in between.
