As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician at Baylor Scott & White Health, I perform venipuncture and blood collection procedures for patients of various ages and conditions, following good laboratory practice (GLP) standards and ensuring patient safety and comfort. I also maintain and sterilize equipment, stock supplies, and document patient information and test results accurately and confidentially.I have been working as a phlebotomist for over two years, previously at Medical City Healthcare, where I gained valuable experience in a fast-paced and diverse healthcare setting. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree from Tarrant County College, where I have learned in depth clinic skills and assessment techniques. I am motivated by the opportunity to provide quality service and support to patients and medical staff, and to contribute to the health and well-being of the community.
