Oversaw a multi-million dollar department and developed a strong 25-member team to lead MORPC's Community Development Planning, Sustainability Programming, and Research & Data sections. Led regional and strategic initiatives and identified strategic partnership opportunities.Connected and integrated large regional initiatives towards a holistic vision focused on equity, access, and sustainability. Analyzed market dynamics and identified key performance indicators.Collaborated on developing a capital plan to move initiatives towards implementation.

Part of the senior leadership team, managing a department of a $2 M budget and 15 staff. Directed and oversaw planning activities related to lifelong communities and sustainability, active transportation, trails, safety, water resources, energy, and regional development. Initiated and directed the region's public/private insight2050 initiative which provides research and guidance to local governments to prepare for significant future population growth and demographic changes. Led the regional trail vision to add 500+ more trail miles to Central Ohio. Co-spearheaded the agency's first goal-oriented and metric-driven Regional Sustainability Agenda and its associated member recognition and technical assistance program called Sustainable2050. Advised on state and federal legislative and policy work.

Section lead supervising 4 staff members to conduct pedestrian, bicycle, safety, and local food planning for Central Ohio. Managed a $1.4 M federal planning project to incorporate all aspects of local food systems development into the revitalization of a distressed Columbus neighborhood, with focus on creating jobs and education. Successfully led the development and implementation of a regional Complete Streets policy, the first by a large metropolitan planning organization in the country.

Created the agency's first regional safety planning program and worked closely with the Department of Transportation to shape statewide safety initiatives. Developed an award-winning video to educate local law enforcement officers on the importance of accurate crash data The partnership efforts between state, regional, and local governments resulted in crash data accuracy increase from 66% to over 90%.

Initiated mobility management strategies to reduce parking demand. Successfully led negotiations to implement new bus line to the company.

Conducted research on business fleet car-sharing models and TDM strategies.
