- I work as a research scientist in both national and international research projects, with a focus on satellite observations and their use in climate research- My area of expertise is snow cover and its changes in the Northern Hemisphere. In my research, I utilize a variety of data sources, including satellite observations, climate models, and reanalyses- My work includes planning and conducting research, which involves data collection, data analysis, data visualization, writing reports and scientific articles, and preparing funding applications- I have published results in top-tier scientific journals and have also served as a reviewer for several publications- I participate in scientific conferences to network and share results with the scientific community. Additionally, I communicate my research to the public

- I worked at the Aviation and Military Weather Service as a summer employee during 2013–2016 at the Kuopio and Helsinki offices and as a full-time employee 09/2016–12/2017 at the Helsinki office- My duties included producing weather forecasts and warnings for civil aviation and creating weather products for the Finnish Defence Forces
