Assist with dealing with queries relating to the final rejection of claims, authorization of major component claims with the inclusion of a technical assessment by an accredited motor assessor, Monitoring of supplier/repairer behaviour and Insurer/Ombudsman queries from our legal and compliance department. I am also a stand in team leader and assist my claims team of +- 12 agents with their day-to-day queries that may arise. Claim queries that I may deal with on a day-to-day basis consist of calming and assisting irate clients, streamlining claims processes to speed up claim finalization, consideration of keeping clients on risk due to infringement of policy terms and conditions as well as escalation of dealer complaints/queries to the relevant departments with regular follow ups. The complaints department liaises with me for assistance with a synopsis for a rejection when liaising with the insured. I assist with individual and group training as necessary relating to claims technical as well as internal claims processes. Queries relating to missed/incorrect payments from our payments department.

• Serving as a service and repair technician in the workshop including dealing face to face with customers as technical help. Currently working mainly with diagnostics below the diagnostic technician

• Serviced and repaired numerous VW brand vehicles, occasionally dealing with SEAT branded vehicles. Carried out general maintenance and diagnostic testing and repair work that are both common and uncommon in the service workshop environment. Completed and qualified as a Motor Technician as of 22/08/2014
