Developing .NET software applications and services based in C#, Powershell and SQL, as well as data analysis tools to support the data integration and analysis systems at Chelan County PUD.

I have completed work in the areas of electrical hardware development, architectural trade studies, and data analysis software for various companies based in Washington State.

I took time off from engineering to continue my education and development as a professional rock climbing instructor, culminating with certification as an American Mountain Guide Association, Rock Climbing Instructor (SPI).

As the founding engineer and first employee, I helped establish the early technical direction for the company, coordinate engineering concept projects and recruit team members while leading the electrical, controls, and systems development for the companies first eight years. I was directly responsible for electrical systems architecture, requirements, system modeling, hazard analysis, controls software, integration, and validation from first article prototypes to pre-production units. My work spanned across the entire product motor, battery, throttle, charger and cable, with specific technical contributions to the underlying subsystems. Many of the systems I helped to design for Pure Watercraft are currently patent-pending, with one already granted. Some specific projects that I have completed during the multiple iterations of product development include:-Development of closed-loop physical system and control models of the entire outboard motor system (battery, motor, and vessel dynamics) -Development of supervisor and low-level control software for the outboard motor system in areas of; battery management, motor control, safety, and monitoring system.-Battery pack system (9.6kWh, 350V) including BMS, and cable interconnect system- Motor controller and integrated electronics assembly to control all required functions in the outboard unit (tilt trim, power conversion, etc)- Redundant high voltage safety system, involving: interlocks, high voltage monitoring, mechanical redundancy, and human-oriented design.
