Job profile: -• Arrival import load flight finalization in EK cargo system as per milestones agreed.• Tally arrival FFM with import AWB received to deduce if any changes/amendment required before IGM submission.• Checks if all cargo document received from arrival pouch as per import shipments manifested, and liaise with consignee agents in case if any document is missing so that it may be submitted during deposition.• Import discrepancy updates in SBHR.• Liaise with warehouse custodian with regard to import cargo.• Preparation and transmission of e-DO for credit agents.• Shipment AWB confirmation message to origin for any special cargo (VAL/HUM/DG).• CAN as per agreed process through EK designated service provider.• Follow up CAN’s as per agreed DO process.• Responsible for the correct amount of DO to be raised /collected for each M-AWB/H-AWB.• Issue of cash DO’s to cash consignee agents /customers.• Settlement of daily sales in cash and cheques to the designated cash handler of EK.• Responsible for cash collected and settled.• Invoicing to import credit agents on daily basis.• Follow up with EDI vendor for IGM /EGM submission, amendment, and inward date filling.• Keep import document in safe custody.• Liaise with customs and EK clearing agent for amendments.• Follow up on import arrival discrepancy on a daily basis.• Handle telephonic calls as well as walk –in enquiries with regard to imports.• Handle all import related mails and take action on time.• Physically check the import shipments which is FDCA for regularization.• Filling of CTM (cargo transfer manifest) for transshipments with EDI and take approval from customs.
