At Formidable I use React, TypeScript, GraphQL, MobX-State-Tree, and other modern web technologies to build streamlined, scalable, web applications for my clients. Through my growth from an SEI to Senior Software Engineer I have had the opportunity to take on increasingly complex problems and application features across an array of clients from startup to multinational enterprise. My current project utilizes geospatial libraries including deck.gl and CARTO to analyze and visualize complex, large datasets. On this project I work across multi-disciplinary teams to bring features from concept to reality, making technical decisions and employing the art of compromise to get to the finish line. I have assisted in creating a component library that follows our design pattern library as well as helped to establish and document code base patterns and best practices. I have worked alongside my teammates to transition our code base to TypeScript and set up a testing suite that continues to grow. While at Formidable I have had the opportunity to mentor and onboard engineers as they joined my projects, providing guidance on team best practices, dedicated pairing, and technical background on the project. By fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture and imparting our team expectations I have been an integral part in creating team cohesiveness and increased productivity.

• Put in place institution-wide best practices that streamlined events across all departments. • Designed events for hundreds of guests from start to finish including event flow, event aesthetic, collateral, catering and programming. • Managed event budgets of up to $125k in expenses and $550k in revenues.
