Dr. Keshab Raj Paudel completed Doctor of Medicine (MD), 3 years’ residency program, in Biomedical Sciences with concentration in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, in 2008 from B P Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Nepal. After completion of his post-graduation, he joined Kathmandu Medical College, Kathmandu, Nepal. Subsequent to his successful tenure at Kathmandu Medical College, he worked with a promoted professional rank at Chitwan Medical College, Nepal. In a quest for international exposure and experience, he moved to Trinity Medical Sciences University in St. Vincent and Grenadines in March, 2016 where he served as a full time faculty member, head of the department and a course director with full attention span in academics and research for approx. 8 years. After serving Trinity, he joined Mercer University School of Medicine, Georgia, USA in September 2023 and is serving as a full time medical educator and researcher.Dr. Paudel has published an extensive list of manuscripts and abstracts (50+) in internationally acclaimed peer reviewed national and international indexed journals and abstract books, and also has served as a peer reviewer in different national and international scientific biomedical journals including Medical Science Educator (official journal of IAMSE). He has also authored a book of Pharmacology which has been published by one of the prominent medical book publishers of India (Jaypee Brothers). Dr. Paudel has contributed more than 13 oral and poster presentations to different scientific meetings and has attended more than nine trainings related to research and medical education, more than 73 conferences, seminars and workshops in continuing medical education intended for professional development. He has completed ‘Leaders of Learning’ a 14- week training course provided by Harvard University. He has attended advanced reviewer's workshop conducted by International Association of Medical Science Educators (IAMSE). Organizational memberships have been included American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, IAMSE, Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Medical Association, Nepal Dental Association, and Society of Pharmacologists of Nepal. Dr. Paudel has also served as a curriculum designer/developer, examiner, program coordinator, and department chair in a capacity of different academic ranks at different medical universities as his extra-pedagogical and/or andragogical professional responsibilities.
