Bank Connectivity:• As part of ION bank connectivity business services team, I am working on Bank/Client implementation projects for US/EMEA with focus on Statements, Payments, Goldman Sachs Integration, Bank Fee Analysis & building transmission for smooth flow of data. • Assist in integration testing for technical banking products like APIs, SFTP servers, SWIFT network connectivity, payments, etc.• Working on Certificate renewals and Credentials management with the clients and banks for seamless transmission of statements and payments.• Working on full Implementation life cycle starting from Scoping, Requirements Gathering, Configuration, Testing and Production ready.• Reaching out to third parties to follow up on missing statements and coordinate with internal CS teams (for TMS) the delivery of the messages/statements • Analyzing user requirements, performing an impact analysis, and creating User Stories (BRDs) • Conducting thorough testing to ensure that the bank and TMS connectivity works as expected and troubleshooting and collaborating with other technical teams to resolve the issue.• Translating User Stories into the identifiable and actionable project plan – writing Acceptance Criteria Collaborating with different teams in solution development and implementation. • Had responsibilty for trade reconciliations for the Domestic Depository (DTC), Foreign Custodian , Stock Record Reconciliations, Firm out of Balance and functions like Seg Reconciliations for Various Clients.• Bank Reconciliation for cash as well as reconciliations for Securities in the applications like Frontier, Recs.• Reaching out to various Counter parties involved in the trades which are not following as per US Regulations 15C-3 Possessions and Controls so as Seg violations can be avoided.• As a part of Monitoring activities, we do the functions like No name accounts, No money balance account, Suspense accounts and Loan rec etc.• Coordinating with Counter Parties to get the trade settled as soon as possible by various means so that breaks can be adjusted timely within the firm’s SLA.• Making Sure the Entries has been processed in the Stock Record side books so that Street side accounts has been adjusted.• Responsible for breaks needs to be moved to suspense accounts, money as well as shares before the 7th Day as a part of Regulations.• Instructing the DTC Settlements Team to receive and deliver the SPO charges• Interaction with the onshore clients to handle their queries & the teams within to resolve any breaks issue.• Preparing of Supervisory check list and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the activities getting transmitted from the US.• Ensuring quality of processing via four-eye checks is maintained as per SLA.• Prepare various reports required by the Team Manager on Weekly/Monthly basis.• Mentor and train new staff members to ensure the smooth running of the process.• Communicating updates related to process to senior management.
