• Perform the daily operational tasks that are necessary to provide a stable and robust server environment, including monitoring, proactive maintenance, and problem resolution.
• Perform scripting administration tasks and reporting using PowerShell
• Represent the department to other groups in the company and with external vendors. Facilitate and/or coordinate interactions with these parties as needed to deliver results.
• Take ownership of typical server event alert issues and work to resolution and root cause identification.
• Help ensure team performance meets or exceeds defined Service Level Agreements.
• Adhere to and help enforce change management and compliance processes.

• Responding to escalations, tickets, and alerts from NOC and Helpdesk issued to network engineering in a timely manner.
• Ensure trouble ticketing system is current and documents all activities, notes and actions.
• Providing resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysis where appropriate.
• Providing comprehensive and maintenance plans for change management review and approval, implement according to plan.
• Communicating within project teams to resolve backup related issues.
• Diagnose and correlate complex backup problems, identify root causes and implement remediation strategies.
