Current• Monitor , troubleshoot and fix backup failures• Maintaining Avamar Grids ( Gen3, Gen4S, Gen4T, Gen5A) with flat file system backup, oracle RMAN & SQL backup configured . All grids configured with a replication grid. Each grid is configured with around 1200 to 1800 clients. Hands on experience on the Avamar administrator console on various versions.• Hands on experience in Avamar Versions: 6.0.1.66 & above • Installation of avamar admin GUI on the jump servers• Installation & configuration of the Avamar client on Windows /UNIX servers.• Performing all the activities Backup & Restore, Replication and Monitoring.• Creating Domains, Data set, Schedule, Retention policies, Groups and Group policies.• Hand on experiences with the Avamar Enterprise manager, Administrator and MCCLI.• Configuring backups (Agent based , Image level , Database backups (MSSQL , MYSQL , ORACLE RMAN, NDMP)• Configuring avamar cluster based backups on cluster servers• Configuring Replication via Avamar Admin GUI , Avamar Enterprise manager and CLI • Re-configuring Maintenance schedule when required.• Monitoring Avamar maintenance jobs (GC, HFScheck) & Replication on daily basis.• Monitoring Avamar Grid utilization on daily basis.• Troubleshooting the backup failures and replication failures.• Troubleshooting of Image level backups via CLI using proxycp.jar file.• Basic troubleshooting of Maintenance failures (events generated in Utility node)• Restores of Flat files, SQL Databases and VM Images.• Migration of clients from one grid to other using Avamar client manager.• Coordinating with the EMC vendor for major issues on Avamar Grid & if any hardware failures.• Updating GSAN to the latest versions.• Running Standard and Custom reports using Data Protection Advisor (DPA)• Participating in Disaster Recovery scenario tests
