Lead for application inventory collection, assessment engines and policy evaluation services for Symantec Advanced Endpoint Product v1.0 spanning multiple endpoint solutions (mobile, desktop etc). Research engineer in the CTO office @ SymantecCloud Security Solutions (Symantec Data Center Security)Virtual Data Center scalability and protection. - First version of the Data Center Security Offering. - Worked extensively on vCloud to develop prototypes using Symantec products to do feasibility study and gap analysis. - Documented findings and worked with multiple product teams to demonstrate integration ideas. - Developed a visualization tool for monitoring configuration security using open source technologies. Built on Netflix tools and d3js graph libraries. Cisco IPS and Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) integration - Led an integration effort working with Cisco Security team to develop solutions that would enhance cisco routers to be able protect network boundaries smarter leveraging Symantec intelligence. - Developed adaptors to SEP product reviewed by the SEP team and collaborated extensively with Cisco engineers to develop solutions for a number of use cases outlined. - Use cases were demoed at Cisco Live.
