As the Director of Operations and Events at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), I oversee risk assessment, project management, facility operations and the execution of large-scale events that promote the mission and vision of the organization. With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I have successfully managed multi-million dollar budgets, negotiated contracts, built effective teams and delivered exceptional customer service.I am passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and I leverage my skills and expertise to create inclusive and engaging events that celebrate and empower Black engineers. I also lead and mentor a cross-functional team of professionals and volunteers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
