I am a Partner & Head of the Family Department at Heald Solicitors. I qualified as a Solicitor in August 2001 and am a member of Resolution. I undertake all aspects of Family Law, with a particular emphasis in dealing with complex financial matters for high net worth clients. I also enjoy working on cases with an international element, and Children matters where jurisdictions outside of England and Wales are involved. I successfully completed the first part of a Diploma in Counselling and am currently in the process of completing the Advanced Counselling Skills Course. I feel that my background in counselling enables me to empathise more effectively with my Family Law clients.I adopt a holistic approach with my clients, and as a meditation and yoga teacher, I draw these qualities of wholeness into my work. I feel this often helps my clients to see the bigger picture so they can see the light beyond the sadness and pain of separation and divorce. Outside of work I voluntarily provide support to therapists in a hospital, assisting with inpatients who are suffering from trauma and PTSD.
