Union Street Charter School is a small teacher-run school. In addition to managing a class of third grade students, I co-created a school-wide remote learning plan and provided technical support to 200+ stakeholders. I utilized 15+ educational technology platforms during in-person (brick and mortar) and remote (distance) learning. I created engaging lessons and adapted Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Next Generation Science Standards aligned lessons to fit the unique needs and diverse learning styles of students.

I participated in bi-monthly formal anti-racist, DEI, and trauma informed practice trainings. I held this position in a matrixed environment, reporting to multiple senior level leaders. I interpreted aggregate data to pivot strategies regarding the implementation of organization wide initiatives and supports relating to equity such as Positive Behavioral Intervention Support and Culturally Responsive Teaching. I used data to drive my decision making, collaborated cross-functionally on a daily basis, and worked under minimal supervision and tight timelines. With a team of teachers, I helped write, revise, and adapt CCSS and NGSS aligned curriculum and assessments.
