With 15 years of experience in education, I am passionate about enhancing student learning and teacher effectiveness with classroom instruction. I have a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and I am currently an Instructional Technologist at Houston ISD, the largest school district in Texas. I value innovation, collaboration, and diversity, and I strive to support the district's mission of providing quality education for all students. I bring a unique perspective and experience to the team, as I have also been a math teacher, mentor, coach, and consultant for various schools and organizations.As an Instructional Technologist at Houston ISD, I design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective online and blended learning solutions for teachers and students. I leverage various educational technology tools and platforms, such as Google Workspace, Canvas, Nearpod, Flipgrid, and Kahoot, to create interactive and differentiated learning experiences. I also facilitate professional development sessions and workshops for teachers and administrators on how to integrate instructional technology into their curriculum and instruction. Additionally, I provide technical support and guidance for teachers and students on using instructional technology effectively and safely.
