Led go-to-market strategy for corporate sponsorship on behalf of the City of Baltimore-Department of Transportation for the launch of the Baltimore Bike Share system.Developed relationships with local and National brands and companies to develop advertising and marketing campaigns in association with the bike share system. I was responsible for managing revenue and executing event logistics for the NKF Golf Classic and Rappel for Kidney Health. In addition, I worked to advance the mission of NKF-MD within the community through implementation of free health screenings to those at highest risk of developing kidney disease. I enjoyed the opportunity to work directly in public health to create change in our community!

I am proud to have met personal and professional objectives related to fundraising event budget goals. While managing the fifth annual, 2014 Rappel for Kidney Health, I worked with local executives and health care professionals to exceed sponsorship and participant recruitment goals in event history. I worked with event committees to meet and exceed revenue goals through the retention and recruitment of additional volunteers, sponsors and in-kind partnerships.

One of my favorite aspects of the job was getting to work cross departmentally to create a successful environment for fund-raising. Using my networking and interpersonal skills, I developed relationships with my colleagues, community members, and in the corporate sector, to identify and recruit volunteers and to solicit and manage event sponsors, participants and supporters for Rappel for Kidney Health and the NKF Golf Classic. My goal-oriented mindset ensured that net income goals are met and expenses are maintained at best practice costs ratios. My attention to detail ensured accounting of all monies received from special event sources are accurately and timely entered in appropriate databases.I enjoyed working with my colleagues to ensure brand awareness through the management of the organization's social media presence, including but not limited to creating new marketing materials and email communications, writing blog posts and co-managing marketing interns.

My primary responsibilities included providing administrative support for fundraising activities, tracking all donations, maintaining the current database of prospects and preparing information needed for meetings.In my experience working within the nonprofit software of Blackbaud Sphere, I further developed my problem-solving skills through self-teaching, question and answer research, and trial and error training. My ability to manage Kintera webpages includes HTML knowledge, accuracy of data entry, and my desire to constantly improve the experience of all who access a special event website to register, donate or learn more.

In my role working closely with the Executive Director, I learned the basics of nonprofit management. With opportunities to work with volunteers in all levels of the organization, I gained experience ensuring the needed assistance for fundraising and non-fundraising activities.
