I am an experienced researcher passionate about employing population genetic tools to study natural populations, and to aid in their management and conservation. I am also a recipient of Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS M), Ontario graduate Scholarship (OGS), and University of Windsor Entrance Scholarship for my Master's research. My thesis focused on using genetic techniques to explore the factors that aid in reproductive success and therefore the local adaptation in Snow Buntings. The ultimate goal was to use these genetic tools to examine both evolutionary and applied questions in this Arctic-breeding bird. My experiences in academical and volunteer work have equipped me with a diverse set of important skills such as critical analysis, problem solving, teamwork, multitasking, and project management.
