His journey began as a copywriter at Ogilvy Bangalore, where he worked on brands like SAB Miller, SAP, ITC Infotech, Worldspace, and Vodafone Hutch. As founder and director at ketchup studio he has directed numerous ad films, corporate films, audio visuals, music videos, sketches, documentaries, branded content films and New Reality media experiments like creating the virtual tour of Rajasthan Kabeer Yatra. Gautam's entrepreneurial spirit further led him to establish Simple Tribe. A design strategy and storytelling specialist consulting firm where he has helped craft the brand identity of multiple start-up brands like vector 91 cycles, Cuemath, Reise moto, Zetwerk and Ergos. With the belief “when inspiration touches talent she gives birth to truth and beauty” Gautam has transitioned Ketchup Studio from a production house to a house of talent that serves as a common ground for brands, media and creators to interact with each other culturally and commercially.
