Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) is a Tbilisi-based NGO, with a diverse portfolio and the experience of working with almost every donor in the country. CDD was established on February 26, 2008 and is a registered NGO. The mandate of the organization clearly states that CDD is a democratic, impartial, representative non-governmental organization. CDD aims to advance the development of democracy by building the publics’ trust in the democratic system and improve the democratic checks and balances to increase government accountability. CDD has over 10 years of experience of Election Observation.CDD’s is a unique organization in the Georgian civil society, as it managed to reach out to the religious communities previously not considered by other actors. This organization managed to implement number of groundbreaking initiatives involving educators and youth from religious education institutions and to reach out to religious communities across the country. CDD has been the organizer of historical visits of Religious leaders to Brussels and to Washington DC.CDD has 10 years of working background with the clergy with support of number of Donors like: National Endowment for Democracy (NED); British Embassy Tbilisi; UK Good Governance Fund; US Embassy Tbilisi; Embassy of Kingdom of Netherlands and more. Worth mentioning that Organization has also been recipient as well as sender of volunteers. CDD’s staff has a diverse experience in local social projects, youth projects, projects funded by international donors.

Led 'YouCreator' Social Campaign on volunteer basis: Spearheaded numerous social initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic that mobilized over a million citizens to participate in the "Cheers of Appreciation" event.Provided Essential Supplies:• Distributed 10,000 kg of food to families in need.• Supplied 5,000 kg of food to homeless animals, supporting animal welfare amidst the pandemic.Education Support Initiative:• Facilitated access to education by providing 18 months of free internet and gadgets for over 1,800 children in need across the country, in partnership with the business sector.Humanitarian Mission to Ukraine-Poland Border:• Organized a humanitarian mission in collaboration with partners to deliver aid directly to children affected by the crisis at the Ukraine-Poland border.Important Business Sector Collaboration:• Engaged in significant cooperation with the business sector to support and enhance the impact of these social initiatives, ensuring broader community involvement and resource allocation.

Sector 3 - Hub for Development, is the new public platform established with the initiative of the civil society organizations acting in Georgia, together with different field experts and with the support of international organizations. This is the space uniting intellectual resources inside and outside of the country, consolidating experience and innovation, in-depth knowledge and experimental ideas; it also joins professionals and new faces, and creates opportunities for exploring and putting forward new generation leaders. Mission of the Sector 3 is to unify citizens, organizations, sectors and broad society, to stimulate dialogue, communication and cooperation among them and to find effective solutions for sustainable development of the country.

Developed and hosted the podcast "Sectoral Analysis," which focused on fostering dialogue on a variety of critical issues including EU integration, visa liberalization, opportunities, and challenges facing Georgia. The podcast featured a diverse lineup of guests, such as experts, activists, officials, and religious leaders, providing a platform for in-depth discussions. Responsible for the entire podcast production process, from topic selection and guest curation to overseeing the recording sessions, ensuring that each episode offered valuable insights and stimulated meaningful conversations. This role emphasized strategic communication and engagement with a broad audience to enhance understanding and awareness of key societal and political topics.

Served as the co-host for a weekly 15-minute segment on the Business Morning Show on BMG TV “Pirveli,” dedicated to highlighting the success stories and tangible benefits of EU integration brought about by the EU-Georgia Association Agreement. Over the course of 21 shows, the segment provided in-depth coverage of various topics related to EU integration, featuring numerous guests who contributed their insights and experiences. Full responsibility for selecting topics, inviting guests, and managing content for each segment was managed by the co-host, ensuring a comprehensive and informative presentation. This role involved significant preparation and coordination to effectively communicate the impact of EU integration on Georgia’s development.

As Vice President responsible for International Relations, led efforts to rebrand the organization by developing a new website and creating portfolios to enhance public communication. Managed communication with European Youth Forum member organizations and coordinated with 25-member youth NGOs. Oversaw project coordination focused on developing youth organizations, including conducting training sessions, formulating organizational development policies, and organizing experience-sharing forums. Provided assistance and support to member organizations and collaborated with international partners to advance the development of the youth NGO sector.

European Portfolio for Youth Leaders and Youth Workers was developed by: Council of Europe in cooperation with experts and partners such as the European Commission and the European Youth Forum. The Portfolio is a tool developed for intercultural youth work, based on the values and principles of the Council of Europe. It is a tool through which youth workers, volunteers or professionals, can identify, assess and describe their competencies based on European quality standards and set learning and professional development goals.
