I work in BDO's fast growing TRA team (Technical Risk Assurance) I am the technical lead so I am a fixed point for others to go to at the same time as handling some of our largest and most complex clients.Myself and the team work over multiple streams of work including internal, external audit, as well as advisory.With my knowledge and skill using SQL, Excel and M-Query, I have been able to automate all of my engagements to a high standard and have received great feedback for my work.my next steps are to focus on my work, expand the team and their skillset around me and move back onto my studies of other system languages used in data analytics including SAS and R.

Key Tasks -▪ Business auditing and reporting.▪ Report writing and creation using SQL, Office BI, Power Query, Excel and more.▪ Financial monitoring across the business portfolio.▪ Providing internal coaching and training, incl SQL, MS office with VBA, Dax, Excel formula use and application.▪ Providing information and guidance to other teams internally and externally – Industry data expert pertaining to process and data transfer.▪ Provide automation tools and reports across all business areas to enable the most efficient use of all FTE's.▪ Chase and maintain industry 3rd party’s relationships for data flows and supply details across entire portfolio.▪ Developing systems and processes to meet business needs.
