Prototyped combined software and hardware test framework to deliver improved integration testing across departments. Implemented a proof-of-concept that removed maintenance and infrastructure overhead of previous test frameworks, which required parsing a large multi-repository and multi-language codebase quickly in order to identify areas for changes. Communicated extensively with and presented to senior management and other teams to scope, plan, and share results. As I left, published extensive documentation internally and held training sessions to transition development to full-time engineers for full workflow integration.

Developed a fully functioning analytics platform for MBTA Commuter Rail locomotive data, allowing previously unused data to streamline the maintenance and troubleshooting processes and reduce delays. This comprised constructing a multithreaded data decoding and acquisition pipeline to transfer data from moving equipment to a central server while protecting against data loss, and building a web interface in React.js to quickly analyze this data. Designed and implemented the platform to be extensible, with expansion to full network monitoring in mind. System was deployed onto two locomotives with immediate plans to expand to 10.
