I am a time served pipefitter with over 10 years experience. Served a 4 year apprenticeship leading my trade at Cansco and stayed for 2 years after my time was out. I was pushed on quickly and was offshore at the age of 18. I was also taught how to survey pipe Spools as part of a Q.C role when my apprenticeship came to an end. I did many trips offshore to various platforms and F.P.S.O vessels. I left to work for M-I Swaco in Denmark as a piping engineer, assisting with their cutting waste equipment. Upon returning to Aberdeen I gained employment with CPS as a Pipefitter, but while I was there I did supervisor roles both on and offshore on a regular basis. Was a shift supervisor of 20 on a 5 week shutdown at the Petrojarl Foinaven. I left CPS in an effort to get abroad. Worked on the shetland gas plant as a Pipefitter and shift chargehand for balfour Beatty. This was for 3 months while balfour had the contract. Been back at Cansco and Cps since the turn of the year but I am looking for a rotation or overseas work. I am very hard working, skilled and determined to push forward.
