I came to Mellor as a storeman and was quickly made in to supervisor as my experience and qualities shone through, I implemented procedures for goods in, goods out and locating. I locked down the stores so we had better control of the movement of all stock. I took on a managerial role while still helping out with stores day to day as we were light on personnel. I've managed stock takes and renegotiated with suppliers to save the company tens-of-thousands of pounds. I've recruited storeman and guided individuals to grow and become effective and vital team members for the company. I've just recently been a core member of a team which has helped set up and integrate a new ERP system from syspro to business central my role was inventory items. I'm constantly striving for improvement and development wherever possible but especially in the flowing of materials so we can be more efficient throughout the business.

i was initially employed as a Double Necker Operator then i progressed and became a Pipette Setter and Double Necker Setter. my duties involved setting the machines, actively troubleshooting and making sure deviations were kept to a minimum. while operating I was required to check product specifications regularly, while maintaining monitoring and recording information online. I also had a number of roles in which I would help train and mentor new employees as well as my peers. I was a qualified first aider as well as having responsibility within my work area in the event of an emergency
