My name is Keva /’kēvə/kee-vah/, which, in native cultures, is a dwelling used for ceremonies and meetings. I’d like to believe I have created a similar space in my salon suite where we can relate, relax, and release. I believe that having fabulous, beautiful, healthy hair is within everyone’s reach and that our hair journeys are a sacred rite.I am a Colorado native, homemaker, mother of two busy boys, a 25yr old music artist and father, and a 20yrs multi-sport college sophomore, and a 16yr Jack Russell Terrier named Mechi. I am a first-generation hairstylist. My career began at 16yr-old, the same age as my youngest child, creating styles for my family, friends, and the local community. I built a faithful following through the years, in addition to a full-time corporate career and raising a family. I became a licensed Cosmetologist in 2007 with Cum Laude honors. With 15 years of personal experience and 15+ years of professional experience, I have gained an amazing clientele, and word-of-mouth referrals have always been my best advertisement. I am a Master Colorist, Ouidad certified stylist and retailer, Texture specialist, Extension specialist, freelance editorial arts, and Educator. When not in my suite, I always seek to increase my skills and abilities with Master's certifications from Alfaparf, Aquage, Ouidad, Indique, and Seven Luxury Haircare Owners/Manager Define Event. Noncertificate Classes with Cut it Kinky, Rezo, Kevin Murphy, Goldwell, Redken, Scumbag Barbers, American Crew, Paul Mitchell, Destroy The Hairdresser, and many others are too numerous to list (but I think you get the picture I’m a lifelong learner).I have also created 1 on 1 education classes for local stylists and recent graduates from local cosmetology schools.Another passion of mine is creating with local and national fashion designers, makeup artists, and photographers for weddings, photo shoots, runway shows, and main stage segments with Color of Fashion, Fashion Gallery New York Fashion Week, Denver Fashion Week, Massif Fashion Week, Massif Beauty Academy, Principle lead hair design with RAWartists, Bridal Beauty blogs, and numerous publications.
