Backed by Khosla Ventures, Merus Capital, etc.* Implemented a system to collect OS and Xcalar stats to allow users to quickly diagnose performance issues.* Developed a system to persist and view detailed query execution stats, enabling users to profile queries and analyze detailed metrics for each component of the query.* Helped with API migration from Thrift to Protobuf, decreasing memory consumption by 90%.* Added the ability for users to debug Map and Filter User Defined Functions by adding infrastructure for error propagation in the C++ codebase.* Led a team of three engineers, including myself, to implement dynamic pushdown of predicates and sub-queries to Snowflake.* Made optimizations to the pre-check in testing which led to 2x speedup in end-to-end test times.* Refactored and deleted 10000+ lines of legacy code in effort to reduce technical debt and clean up the codebase.
