About Kevan Glover

Kevan Glover grew up in Buffalo, New York as the eldest of four children. He proved early on to be a leader and motivator amongst his family, his peers, and on the basketball court. At Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, Kevan was the only freshman starter, and led the team in scoring. As he approached graduation he knew he wanted an unconventional career. On a road trip with friends to Charlotte, he fell in love with the city for its growth potential and blossoming social scene, and moved there immediately. In 2005 Kevan established No Question Entertainment, his first of what would eventually be six companies to his name. It began as the first Myspace Party in North Carolina, and quickly grew to become a company known and respected for its high-end parties and events with celebrity appearances. Following the success of No Question Entertainment, offshoots No Question Music Group (widely considered one of the top indie labels in the Carolinas)By 2007, Kevan’s networking renown led him to coordinate the first Queen City Music Awards. Working tirelessly, he was able to gather artists, dj’s, and sponsors for an unprecedented event that joined the community and entertainment industry together. It was hugely successful right away, and the following year revenue and attendance doubled. It is still considered the biggest industry event in the region each year.Another milestone was when Mayor Anthony Foxx (Charlotte,NC) Proclaimed every 2nd Saturday in December as Queen City Awards Day. From there, Kevan self funded the Konnected Tour, a 12 city tour with 12 different artists, which now has its own publication,The Konnected Magazine, where Kevan is the editor-in-chief. We guess it is true that he should be compared to a Great man such as Russell Simmons.
