I am a data scientist with a passion for the natural environment. I specialise in developing AI strategies to identify various remote sensing signatures of the earth. My journey began as a product and manufacturing engineer, and after I entered the research side of engineering I began using machine learning to analyse images and videos. This work has allowed me to explore research areas from animal behaviour to environmental remote sensing analysis. Born and raised in Canada, I moved to Aotearoa New Zealand with my family. We live on a lifestyle block outside of Kirikiriroa, Hamilton where we raise chickens, milk goats and rear goat kids. When possible, I will be outdoors either hiking or on my mountain bike.
