In support of the Department of Population Health, I was responsible for managing all aspects of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of foundation donors with a particular focus on population health, underserved populations, community partnerships and early childhood development.

Managed all aspects of foundation grant activities across NYU Langone Health Systems, including post-award administration, donor reporting and gift processing.

Provide fiscal and operations management of national $3 million workforce development organization with direct oversight of finance, human resources, grant management and general administration.Manage two job placement and career advancement programs serving over 2,500 people annually from underserved populations, and administer SNAP recipient service reimbursement program.Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform program strategy and improve service outcomes, including 30% increase in job placement in targeted growth sectors and 57% job retention.Ensure compliance to federal Social Innovation Fund grant regulations, and manage funder relationships with timely data reporting and communication.Set strategy, manage a team of 10 direct service staff and accounting consultants, and collaborate with partner agencies to improve client outcomes.

Coordinated operations and compliance with regulations for over $150 million of state andfederal grants to the Division of Academics, Performance and Support.Administered $100 million in Race to the Top funding awarded for development and implementationof Common Core curriculum across all New York City public schools.Managed the allocation of over $19 million of RTTT funding to sixty field offices and over 1,500schools, and implemented a review process for all field office spending plans according toprogrammatic and funding guidelines.Led Division efforts to appropriately spend down expiring Education Technology program funding, and worked with central budget office to re-purpose unused funds to other DOE programs.

Provided public oversight and performance management to $3 million sector-based Career Centerprogram focused on transportation, healthcare and manufacturing. Launched two new sector-based employment centers in 2009, serving the healthcare and manufacturing sectors in New York City.Executed a business-driven approach to workforce development using sector expertise and direct input from industry experts. Collaborated with service provider vendors on business development strategies and operational enhancements to improve overall service delivery.

Advisory team member reporting directly to the CEO of an international agency focusing on poverty and human rights. Conducted research and prepared briefings, including talking points for external and internal events related to ActionAid’s strategic priorities. Facilitated organization-wide forum to clarify the scope and strategies for five AAI regional programs and 30 country programs. Conducted program evaluations and reviewed program-specific strategic plans to inform organization-wide strategic planning initiative.

Oversaw product inventory and international licensing rights for international sales and joint-venturedivision. Supported client services and sales departments serving over 250 international clients.  Managed team of 3 in contract administration, database management and inventory tracking for allinternational sales. Reviewed and consulted legal counsel on international distribution rights andrestrictions for all license agreements. Developed review/approval process for product availability for international licensing and securedcooperation of program departments and legal team to share information across the company.

Provided support to overseas staff working on development programs in Central and Eastern Europe.
