Directing NY-based Red Apple Group Real Estate's investments and expansion in Florida. Red Apple Group is currently constructing The Residences at 400 Central in St. Petersburg, Florida, the tallest residential tower on the Gulf Coast.

I directed the day-to-day activities of the Mayor’s Office, served as the chief policy and communications advisor to Mayor Rick Kriseman, oversaw a team of policy directors and coordinators, and facilitated the mayor's appointments to boards & committees. I worked closely with the city administrator and department heads in the development and implementation of external and internal policies and communications to advance the administration’s priorities.As part of our communications strategy, I oversaw all speechwriting, media relations, press conferences, strategic social media, and produced both podcast programming and a regular video series hosted by the mayor. Additional duties included business recruitment, retention, and negotiations, and serving as the staff lead for the once per decade Charter Review Commission.

I served as a campaign manager or political consultant for candidates and elected officials at the municipal, state, and congressional level. I have overseen numerous advertising campaigns, including direct mail and video production. In 2012, I managed a successful statewide campaign against Amendment 3, a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment which would have negatively impacted Florida's budget by establishing a revenue limit based on inflation and population change. Nearly 58% of voters rejected the measure. In 2013, I served as a communications consultant to a statewide non-profit and advised the successful Rick Kriseman for Mayor Campaign in St. Petersburg, Florida.

I was responsible for expanding the political power of PICO United Florida (now known as Faith in Florida), a non-partisan, multi-county network of congregations and a member of the PICO National Network. Specific duties included organizing their first ever Lobby Day at the state capitol, helping guide their legislative agenda, increasing PICO’s statewide profile through earned media and social networking, providing political guidance for PICO’s Campaign for Citizenship, serving as the state field director for PICO’s fiscal policy work with Americans for Tax Fairness, and lobbying lawmakers and their staff.

As the chief aide to the House Democratic Policy Chair, responsibilities included researching and drafting legislation and amendments, constituent service, speech writing, media relations, community affairs, and providing strategic advice.

Directed the Florida Democratic Party’s state house political operation, managing a team of nearly two dozen campaign managers and the organization’s multi-million dollar budget. Oversaw only the second net gain by House Democrats in two decades. Additional responsibilities included message and strategy development, budget resource allocation, and media relations.

Served as a regional director for the Florida Democratic Party’s state house political operation, overseeing the protection of all Democratic House Districts and the gain of three new Democratic seats in the Tampa Bay Area.

Responsibilities included writing and editing investigative reports, and serving as a liaison between insurance companies and field investigators.
