Exploratory MedChem Department delivers novel drug candidates to the LEO pipeline, but it also has a strong focus on supporting the identification, validation and initiation of new MedChem approaches to targets of interest in dermatology.This includes: identifying and providing chemical tools for investigative preclinical studies; applying established and innovative approaches to Hit finding and Hit-to-Lead (e.g. fragment screening, PPIs etc) both internally and via external collaborations; evaluating external opportunities for partnering via strong links with Business Development and Partnership Management.
