This project widens the existing road from four to six lanes in highly complex conditions including a marine interface, replacing 100 year old live service assets all whilst maintaining existing traffic flows.As one of the first engineers onsite, Kevin's first role was to help launch the project and establish efficient systems and procedures. Throughout his three years on the project, he also shared responsibilities in procurement, tunnel boring, drainage works, PUP upgrade, pavements and finishing works. -

Our scope included construction of a rail overpass of the North Coast and Mount Isa rail lines at Cluden as well as capacity and safety improvements to several intersections. Construction was staged around live traffic needs as to limit disruptions to the Bruce Highway.My involvement on this project include:- Site engineering responsibilities in drainage team managing 5km of culvert install under live traffic- Site engineering responsibilities in electrical team managing all street lighting install- Safety leadership training including Risk Behaviour Mitigation public speaking for all 150 site personnel
