About Kevin Backhouse

I help businesses improve their profitability and cash flow.I am qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with a passion for developing people and growing and optimising businesses. I obtained my ACMA qualification through CIMA in 2010, before completed a MBA with honours at Wits Business School.In my 17 years of post-article experience I have worked in a wide range of industries ranging from the retail, wholesale, warehousing and distribution and travel sectors. I have held CFO roles at distribution companies in South Africa, an Australian listed Retail and Business Travel company, and a medium sized Fashion Wholesaler.I founded BBO Consulting (Pty) Ltd 2019 that helps businesses optimise their profitability and cash flow. In addition to this I serve as an Independent Non-Executive Chairman for a successful and entrepreneurial property development and management business based in Sandton, Johannesburg.I am passionate about challenging the status quo and adding value to business in a variety of sectors, and believe I can leverage my experience, combined with your entrepreneurial spirit, to take your business to new heights.
