Oct 1999 - Jun 2001Act Tech is a first tier automotive glass supplier for most of the leading car manufacturers in the UK.Working as part of the Production Support team, the role included:- Ensuring all production targets were met- Making sure that all maintenance on machines were carried out accurately and to schedule- Ensuring that all customer concerns were dealt with quickly and effectively- Aiding the new product development team to implement new products- Changing settings to injection moulding machines to ensure a consistent and quality product due to the material variances

Working as part of the network sewerage team the role included:- Vetting developers proposed plans to ensure that the system that Anglian Water will adopt once the development is complete complies with the Anglian Water regulations for sewer adoption.- Protecting a local watercourse from diesel pollution, by ensuring that the bund was large enough to contain the diesel in the tank, and ensure adequate telemetry- Reporting on flood-damaged properties- Liaising on different levels - with network managers, technicians and customers
