Providing engineering support to both the sales & project management teams, from initial tender stage through to final handover to the customer. Liasing with customers engineers & project managers to achieve a successful completion of generator installations.Responsibilities include:-Sales Supportdesign of generator systems to integrate onto the customers specifictions. ( Electrical, Mechanical, Control & Monitoring)Fuel supply systems.Cable schedules.Commissioning & Test documentation.Generator testing.Commissioning of generators, PLC's, HMI's, & Fuel systems.

Energy Management & Reduction by applying TPS / JIT to energy use within the manufacturing processesProject management including:-Building management systems installations and upgrades, Kaizen of production processes to achieve energy reduction.Operation & maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment.Specialties:Energy reduction and minimisation to production process utilising lean manufacturing techniques, JIT & TPS principles

Managing a team of maintenance members to ensure utility supply to production shops. Operation & maintenance of :- Electrical distribution, Steam boilers, Air compressors, Waste water treatment plant, HVAC systems incl chillers & hot water services.

Undertaking building management system upgrade & development of SCADA monitoring system

Training of maintenance trainees (Mature Apprentices), basic fitting, welding, machining, electrical installation, fault finding & PLCs. Assessing Trainees to NVQ level 3 to completion of modern apprenticeship.

Operation & maintenance of facilities systems & equipment.Involved with commissioning to operation of systems.
