• Profit and Loss Responsibility for the Business Sector – generated and maintained forecasts, monitored and directed program execution, coordinated with manufacturing regarding hardware deliverables, and directed all underlying Business Development (Customer ID, Pursuits, Allocation of Discretionary Funds, etc.)• Responsible for the design, development, and commercialization of advanced Sensor Communications and Imagery Systems for the Department of Defense• Delivered upwards of $25M / Year of engineering services and unique products to Government and Industry• Developed and implemented a Strategic Plan to leverage multiple SBIR Programs, DoD and State Grants, and IRAD initiatives to capture $85M of USMC IDIQ awards for Tactical Imagery Systems under the Tactical Remote Sensor Systems Program (TRSS)• Executed Strategic Alliance with SAIC to co-develop a next-generation Unattended Ground Sensor System (Intelli-Sense) receiving significant interest from the Pentagon Force Protection Agency, DHS, and numerous DoD Program Offices• Negotiated the license of L-3 Nova MANET Transceiver Technology to Textron Systems and the U.S. Government for use on the Spider and Intelligent Munitions Systems Programs• Developed a Capture Plan to secure SOCOM start-up funds for a classified Audio Sensor; the Program Office abandoned their original multi-award Phase II plans, instead placing Nova under a sole source contract for pre-production systems• Established a Team and Concept that catapulted Nova from a Study Participant to Software Lead on DIA’s Terra Harvest Program in just over one year. Nova’s Terra Harvest Open Source Environment (THOSE) is currently mandated by DIA• Subsidized the development of a miniature UHF SATCOM Transceiver (mSAT) for Army Space and Missile Defense Command to ensure acceptance; mSAT is currently SMDBC’s baseline IRIDIUM replacement for embedded UGSS applications.

• Responsible for Business Development supporting DoD and Intelligence Community customers with specialized communications systems for disadvantaged users. Contributed RF designs to miniature UHF transceivers and remote surveillance systems.
