A consultant with over 25 years experience in the energy and utilities sectors, specialising in strategy, commercial management, model development (operations research), business development and analysis. Working with both operators and market participants, I have provided modelling expertise and advice across five countries (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and the United States). Outside of consulting, I have held management positions in New Zealand based generation, retail and distribution companies, in the areas of market modelling, risk management and business development. Areas of expertise include energy market forecasting and analysis, emissions management, logistics, and risk analytics. I am familiar with both commercial and regulatory practice in the electricity and gas sectors and have experience in modelling the economics of new investments as well as practical experience of managing the implementation of such projects.
