About Kevin Brough

“Education is the most powerful weapon, which you can use to change the world.” (Nelson Mandela)Wise words, indeed. For more than 25 years, I have embraced the challenge to use education to change the lives of not only students but those entrusted to teach and coach them.At this juncture in my career, I am ready to pursue Act II and new career opportunities! Fortunate to be able to pursue a very early retirement following a successful career as a middle school principal, I accepted an opportunity to lead the development and implementation of an innovative before/after school program at Regional School District #13. As my sights extend further out, I am deeply interested in aligning years of experience in a direction where I can “make a difference”—whether consulting in educational leadership/administration or project/program management. I have a particular passion for teaching science. At the same time, my roots that included heavy sports involvement (as an athlete and as a coach), a love of the great outdoors and various pursuits, history and natural science, and even a lifelong passion for horticulture create compelling directions where I could also make a contribution. So, tapping my proven ability to channel a high degree of motivation, energy, and positivity to any challenge, I invite conversations to explore ways I might be able to help YOUR TEAM. Let’s talk!
