So, this is where we brag about ourselves and not only the wonderful things we’ve accomplished, but also of the wonderful things we’re doing to make the world a better place. As I reflect on a career spanning 30 years, I can honestly say that I’ve done a lot of good in that time; not like Superman, but good nonetheless. I’ve achieved more than I’d have ever imagined, and while I’m as committed as ever, my priorities have changed as my waist expanded and hairline receded. Faith and family are my priorities. Professionally, my focus is on doing everything possible to ensure my organization is successful, which means focusing on the team, our clients, and their wellbeing.Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in many disciplines, with many people. Most experiences have been great, but some not. I’ve won a lot of battles and failed miserably in others. I’ve been the beneficiary of having worked for some magnificent leaders, but I’ve probably learned more from those who may have been less magnificent. Regardless, I wouldn’t change a thing. I look forward to every day and discovering ways in which I can create the most value for the organization and team. Here are some areas where I excel:• Examining the enterprise to determine what is (and isn't) working, then infuse needed change.• Assessing a sales team's ability to deliver results, making hard decisions where needed.• Being an empathetic leader. You can't lead people if you’ve not walked in their shoes.• I’m communicative. Ambiguity kills creativity and spirit.• Celebrate the wins in public, save the hard conversations for closed doors• Focus on activities that drive results for the business, the team, and its customers. • The devil may be in the details, but don't get distracted by what you can't control.I’m likely leaving out the tags, keywords, hashtags, etc., and that’s okay.
