Ensuring the efficient and cost effective day to day running of the despatch and picking departments to meet online demand. Management of up to 60 staff to achieve a 98% daily completion rate and meet high productivity targets.Responsibilities:• Planning, forecasting and delegating the workload for 30-60 staff • Motivating the team at daily team briefs• Setting individuals KPI targets and facilitating performance management reviews• Forecasting workload and creating staffing rotas• Liaising with HR and agencies for the recruitment of agency staff• Delivering staff training, new staff trials and staff probationary reviews• Timely production of KPI reports to senior management• Coaching staff to enable them to reach their full potential• Daily equipment health and safety checks

Based in a large distribution depot, receiving goods and distributing out to retail chains and independents both nationally and internationally in an efficient logistics operation.Responsibilities:• Processing orders, picking and packing (including E-commerce)• Replenishing of stock• Marshalling (quality control)• Training new members of staff in to a variety of roles• Housekeeping duties• Adhering to health and safety

Dealing with high volume product line in an efficient warehouseResponsibilities include:* Merchandising to ensure effective sales* Checking incoming stock for shortages and damage* Ensuring stock is located in the correct place and any parts without abin location are put away and a location added to Kerridge (database)* Accurately picking customer orders and making regular checks toensure only invoiced goods leave the building* Responsibility for a daily ‘short orders report' and investigating the‘negative stock report'* Dealing with customer returns* Working with responsibility of own section, ensuring it is accurately andwell stocked, establishing end of line goods* Offering discounts to customers for bulk sales whilst ensuring profitmargin is met* Provide guidance, support, and direction to other employees inperforming their duties* Handling customer's issues and offering solutions e.g. alternativeproducts
