As a student who aspires to be a financial economist, I have realized that the tiniest details count, allowing me to be more observant overall. Being observant helps in many decision-making situations as it allows me to step back and observe the big picture. Engaging and energetic, it also allows me to take charge of what I do and allows me to work to my fullest potential that I can be.The day-to-day activities of my life currently are driven by one purpose, how to improve. Improvement is the best motivation for success and clearly shows your passion for your craft. Improvement helps clear your mind of your doubts and failures as it redirects guilt and sadness to the desire to remove those doubts and failures. I always tell myself that we all start somewhere and it is the product of my efforts that is important.Discovering more about myself through my experiences helps with my reflectional skills and communication skills. For example, after having a bad grade on a test, I decided to reflect with my study buddy on where we went wrong and the issues we faced during the test. The product of this reflection is having more insight into the subject and exam structure in general. It helped me be more open to people who are working with me as instead of being ignorant of my mistakes and not accepting it, I was focused on improving thus expressing my weaknesses to my study buddy.From most of the skills, I have aforementioned, being acceptive to anyone I feel in my opinion is the most important skill anyone must have as it allows both giving and receiving anything such as opinions, help, and more a much easier task to do. Having this makes you potentially become one of the most important members of any team/company that is aiming to hire you.With all these skills it has become a stepping stone to multiple important achievements in my life such as multiple Edusave good progress and scholarship awards. Currently, I am setting on graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance in the year 2028.
