These companies include: Carrington Title & Settlement providing real estate title and closing services, Carrington Property Services providing REO asset management, property management and valuation related services, Carrington Real Estate a full-service real estate brokerage operating today in 23 states, Carrington Home Solutions providing property inspection and preservation services for institutionally owned assets, and Carrington Construction a consumer-facing home remodeler. Key leader responsible for P&L, revenue growth, third-party client procurement, service standards, and overall team performance. Total revenue in 2018 exceed $150MM.

Developed and led the strategic initiatives, operations and risk management disciplines supporting three distinct service verticals: Nationwide Property Management, Institutional Asset Management and Valuations. The Property Management Company managed greater than 7,000 single family rentals per year (>50,000 inception to date) and launched a set of products which supported the much publicized rental securitization market. The Asset Management business supported the liquidation of approximately 4,000 units per year for large institutional clients including multi-national banks, servicers and smaller property owners. Developed and managed relationships with many of the largest rental property owners in the nation. Awarded Property Management Company of the Year by Think Realty Magazine (2016).

Launched the start-up company in October 2010 and was chiefly responsible for all aspects of the business; delivering inspection, property preservation and repair services to our respected clients. In 6 short months developed nationwide network of vendors and personnel responsible for delivering our services. Within the first 12 months fully repaid our capital partners their initial investment and built a model poised for success. Gross revenues for first year exceeded $15MM, while achieving greater than $50MM after year five. Clients included real estate asset managers, GSE’s, property management firms, portfolio investors, and both large scale and boutique servicers. Led the team responsible for selling Carrington Home Solutions to MCS and American Securities in December 2017 for a significant capital gain.

These initiatives included developing portfolio refinance and short-sale campaigns with large global banks, hedge funds and other portfolio owners. These opportunities, largely known as Joint Marketing Agreements, provided key portfolio benefits to the institutional counterparties while also providing excellent benefits to the direct consumer. Additionally, led the Operations team that included all activities post lead generation to funding to sale. Ultimately played lead role in facilitating the sale of Ameripath Mortgage to Prospect Mortgage in November 2009.

During the 8 year tenure was primarily responsible for the Capital Markets division (wholly-owned affiliate NC Capital Corp.) where I led the securitization and whole-loan sale efforts optimizing the exit strategy for the product being originated, approximately $56 billion per year at the peak. Leadership responsibilities of NC Capital also included portfolio hedging, ABS bond structuring, Portfolio analytics, and the negotiation of complex forward sale agreements, warehouse lines, commercial paper funding facilities and other such funding agreements. Additionally, I was also responsible for product development, fixed income investor relations efforts and the oversight and leadership of the mortgage servicing platform. Member of the Executive Management Committee, Credit Committee, Product Development Committee, and Compensation Committee.
