Their thirst for life and creativity is contagious!What do you think when you hear Production Manager, some people think that means picking the green M&Ms out of the bowl, driving the talent across town for their last minute interview at the radio station, or arguing with a traffic cop about a parking ticket on a tour bus. Indeed, Kevin has done all of those things, but the work underneath the surface is so much more than that.Kevin is instrumental in the presentation of over 400 concerts a year, with musicians and artists from all over the world. The work that he does is key to the success of every single one of those events. As soon as an event is booked, he gets the contract from the agent and begin his work. He distill it down into all of the necessary building blocks for a show. He works with the production team, assessing the technical needs, creating action plans and troubleshooting last minute obstacles. He works with the marketing team by brainstorming marketing plans, gathering & creating assets, and coordinating publicity opportunities with the artists. He then informs the rest of the stakeholders both weekly and daily with action plans for each event. After an event has passed he gathers all of the loose ends... sales and ticket reports, forgotten luggage, artist payments, etc.; His work is thorough. The day to day is made up of hundreds of phone calls, emails and face to face meetings with musicians, their management & representatives, and partners.The work experience that has led him to this point in his career has been a mixture of customer and client facing interactions as well as collaborations with teams on both small and large scale projects. Kevin is very proud of his career so far because of the relationships that he has built along the way. His colleagues trust him under pressure, and in turn he trust the people around him. This trust can be the most satisfying part of any workplace relationship.
