Responsible for leading all technology initiatives, including budget creation in conjunction with the CFO; strategy and analysis of product parameters in conjunction with the CEO, marketing team and the BOD; and management of the engineering department. Managed all development efforts, including product roll-out schedules and $3M+ budgets. Hired and managed R&D, product-development and operations teams. Met with investors, potential clients, business partners, vendors, and consultants. Key accomplishments include:• Successfully managed the development of the Blue Cheetah advanced, integrated, global software-development-and-management platform product from conception to pre-deployment. Over 150 developers participated in its creation. • Developed and patented a new cloud-based eye-tracking technology and customized it for Technology Based Learning and Research education researchers at ASU. • Created and tested an automated fingerprint-identification system with a database of 1M persons which Raytheon used in its bid for a Homeland Security contract.• Developed and deployed a cloud-based bioinformatics system licensed to University of Colorado researchers. Independent studies showed that the system outperformed all other distributed-processing bioinformatics systems at the time, including the system created by the National Center for Bioinformatics. • At the request of CIA representatives, submitted a proposal to DARPA, generating over $1M in revenue for the company. As Principal Investigator, managed the teams to successfully complete work for the High Productivity Computing SBIR Phase I and Phase II grants entitled "High Efficiency, Scalable Parallel Processing Approaches for Multi-Sensor Data Fusion" and "Parallel Processing Benchmarks for Howard Cascading Computer Systems".

Senior member of the technical team responsible for designing, coding, testing and shipping the Field Replaceable Unit power-monitoring software/firmware for the Iceberg system, which strongly contributed to STK’s $2.2B revenue stream. Received an Outstanding Accomplishment award for efforts in delivery of the SSA version of the RVA.

Principal designer and team leader for projects such as the IBM Digital Printing Press SCSI device-driver project and IBM's TRIPS project, an internet-based, large-scale package-tracking system. Project manager for legacy-code analysis for Y2K compliance at various companies. While managing an IBM internal development team and working with and reporting to IBM management, received a perfect QUALCARD for responsiveness, commitment, timeliness, teamwork, and communication.

Managed product-development teams for consecutive start-ups, developing tape-backup systems, including the Retriever tape-backup system which won Windows magazine's top-rated portable tape-backup system (1994). Managed all development efforts, generating product roll-out schedules and managing $1.5M+ budgets. Hired and managed R&D, product-development, manufacturing, and operations teams. Met with company owners and the VP of Marketing. Negotiated deals with business partners, vendors, and distributers.

Designed, integrated, coded and tested for projects such as UNIX real-time SCSI drivers for a multiple M68030 system, an EPROM resident 8088 tape-array system, and parallel, robotic tape systems. Presented two technical papers at the NASA Goddard Conference on Mass Storage Systems and Technologies.

Technical lead and manager for projects such as the Laser Cross Link satellite communication subsystem (IBM), an automated Requirements Traceability Matrix system (IBM), and SPS-48E radar system offline built-in testing (ITT Gilfillan).
