About Kevin Deeb, M.Ed

I received my B.A. in Educational Studies with a double minor in Psychology and Business Management from Roger Williams University. From there, I have been able to acquire 3 years’ experience in higher education settings working and supporting students across various facets. I started my journey in student life focusing in areas of residence life and student leadership where I had the pleasuring of mentoring students through their collegiate journey. This led to passions in exploring counseling which has drove me to pursue a Masters of Education in School Counseling from Providence College. There I had the experience of working in a secondary education setting supporting high school students academically and emotionally. Through these experiences, I have been able to hone my expertise in career and professional development where I currently serve as Roger Williams University’s Career Advisor for some majors within the School of Humanities, Arts and Education, in addition to the entirety of the School of Social and Natural Sciences and all undeclared students. I also hold a specialty in data collection and outreach managing RWU’s First Destination Senior outcomes collection efforts in accordance with NACE standards. I am motivated by the work of mentoring and guiding students through their academic and career journeys and preparing them for their future in all facets of their self-development. I thrive in environments where I am able to collaborate with others and bring positivity and purpose to any interpersonal connection. I am currently pursuing a second Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from Roger Williams University (Graduation Anticipated: May 2025) where I hope to act as an agent of change on the organizational level of a school district to best be able to service the changing needs of todays adolescent population. I will also become an adjunct faculty member of the department of Psychology at Roger Williams University starting in Fall 2024.
