Developed test program infrastructure and validation tools for Intel’s latest microprocessors. Performed silicon debug and defect root causing by cross-referencing outlier results in large datasets and tweaked test programs to gain test time and yield. Owner of the Functional test module in my team, with experience in graphics and IO as well. Worked closely with design, manufacturing and other test teams to drive improvements in product health indicators such as test time and quality.

Short term contract to update the production testing tool for the newest version of a communications device.

Reengineered the production testing tool for a family of communications devices. Built an automated testing jig comprised of 3 different power supplies, a control panel and a communications panel which used I2C, RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 protocols. Designed a multi-threaded, user friendly GUI with C++ and Qt, also embedded Lua scripts to enhance the testing capabilities of the jig by extending the LUA API and creating an RPC mechanism. Collaborated with another intern, software engineers and hardware engineers making use of Git for version control and Doxygen for automatic documentation generation.
