What a blast, every evening comedy and drinks. Comedians would do their sets all week long to refine the same routine over and over again for the weekend shows. By the end of the week, I had heard the same routine so much it wasn't even funny to me.Would spend a few hours each night with the comedians before the show; Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Louis Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Gary Shandling, Sam Kinison, Louie Anderson, Eric Idel, all in the Green Room backstage. Robin Williams would call me up on stage during his set to bring him a bottle of water. I was his "puppet" in a tux. He'd make me his gay model, fashion designer, even pimping me out to the audience ladies, he auctioned me off once. What talent! So comfortable before a crowd to go off key, but so quite and reserved in private.
