Managing a northern regional sales team of four Area Sales Managers for Ovia Lighting, part of the market leading Scolmore Group.

In my role at Scolmore I was tasked with building relationships with electrical contractors & end users throughout the west coast of Scotland. I aimed to close mid and long term project sales opportunities while working in conjunction with our valued distributors. I also provided product training when required. I was responsible for the Click Scolmore (Wiring Accessories & Circuit Protection) side of the business.

My role was to create demand, develop and close mid and long term project sales opportunities. I was tasked with building relationships with key actors such as consultants, investors, architects, local authority, project managers, installers and national electrical contractors.I was also tasked with providing key account management with nominated key accounts.

My role as Project Manager was to develop the Cable & Enegy Management side of the business. Our Energy Management portfolio consisted of : Voltage Optimisation, Boiler Management, Power Factor Correction & Sub Metering.I was tasked with working closely alongside our Preferred Distributor & Approved Installer network in order to maximise sales opportunities throughout the Northern Region. In this role I covered Scotland, Northern England and North Wales.I have undertaken site visits in order to establish a clients needs and identify what solution we could offer in order to reduce their Energy costs.

Cleveland Cable are a world leader in the supply of cable & cable accessories. My role as a sales executive was to service major contractor accounts in the UK & Ireland.
